Political Convention Day -- DO NOW

Take 5-10 minutes to discuss the campaign with your group -- how you will present, when to show video, give speech, promote slogans, show visuals, etc.
If you did not upload your video or social media campaign to the google drive folder, do it now!! (Google Drive Folder for Shjarback- Spring 2024 Lady Macbeth Campaigns )

CAMPAIGN PARAMETERS: The Labour Party has just won the majority of seats in the House of Commons. Now, the Labour Party's leader will become the next Prime Minister. The Labour Party is meeting to decide who to select as their leader and the next Prime Minister.

Convention Schedule

Convention begins!!!
All groups present all aspects of their campaigns.
Ms. Shjarback/Ms. Donaldson and Ms. Fauver select the winning campaign for each side
Last round of campaigning and the election is decided!
Top two groups (1 supporting and 1 against Lady Macbeth) present their campaigns
VOTE!! Rest of the class votes and we learn if Lady Macbeth is elected Prime Minister or not! It is up to all of you!
