Portable Hybrid Power System (power bank)

Improved second prototype assembly in progress.

The system includes all necessary circuitry to ensure charging of total 6600mAh li-ion batteries, as well as visual indicators for battery capacity and time remaining of available energy

The vertical type wind turbine has folding wings to reduce the volume during transport.

The flexible solar collector has been adapted at the curved external surface in order to be fully operationally

Systems design ensures availability of a source of electricity to any kind of off-grid areas, under all weather conditions.

First prototype, fully functional assembly.

It is a prototype device, a portable compact hybrid system which produces and storages electricity in batteries

It uses three power sources for charging : renewable wind, and solar power, and an electric grid. (Optionally a manual system of charge can be used)

The collected energy of all sources is being stored in embedded batteries, providing to the user a compact, portable device that can be used to recharge satellite phones, MP3 players, iPods, PDAs, GPS, digital cameras or other 5V devices. (Optionally possibility for 12v or 24v output power)

Users can be groups of people that move and stay outside city areas for some time, such as campers, climbers, search and rescue units, peasants, soldiers etc.
