While working with the Newport Beach Film Festival as a Marketing/PR intern,
the Philharmonic Society of Orange County asked me to do a press release for an upcoming event.
The event was a concert featuring Sir James Galway with the Irish Chamber Orchestra.

My writings have been featured in the Beachcomber newspaper for a total of 14 months from January 2012 through March 2013.
Based in Long Beach, CA, the Beachcomber distributes 42,000 papers biweekly.
Since I have written numerous stories for the paper, a few of my favorite pieces are featured below.

For my Local Campaign class, I worked with a team of 40 to put together a complete pitch booklet for GoPro cameras. My role included pitching the material several times in front of the class throughout the semester and also presenting the final pitch to the client. Two other team members and I rewrote the entire text of the pitch book. In addition, my duties also included proofreading the entire booklet several times before it went to the printing house. On the last page of the book (page 27), look for me as Head of New Business/Strategic Planning. For the final project in Communication 353, I teamed with two other people do complete a multimedia campaign for The Gastronome.
The Gastronome was the newest food service entity on the CSUF campus in Fall 2011. Samples below are some of my contributions to the campaign.

This is my guerrilla marketing idea for Five Guys Burgers.People seeing this truck from the road are directed to the providedFive Guys website, while not driving of course, to find out the purpose.My vision for this marketing technique centered around an internet ad campaign, whichwill feature five muscular guys beating up the former Burger King king mascot in a boxing ring. The website will open up with the video, which will be on Youtube as well. Then there will be a link to continue to the Five Guys website and the ability to sharethe video with friends. The Orange County Register ad to the left needed a complete rewrite.There were too many words used in such a small ad and the copy didn't relate to the featured graphic. After my rewrite, the graphic and copy are more cohesive and make sense. Click on the image for a full size view.
