Dynamics and ionization of C2H2
These animations show the dynamics and ionization from all 5 Kohn-Sham orbitals in C2H2 when the molecule is parallel and perpendicular to the laser polarization. HOMO0 and HOMO1 are degenerate in energy and the laser does not distort the symmetry (so the occupation/ionization numbers are exactly the same). For the perpendicular case the degeneracy is lifted by the laser electric field and the ionization rate is quite different for HOMO0 and HOMO1.
