Kutila Gunasekera | About

Since April 2017 I have been working at the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at the University of Moratuwa as an academic staff member.

Previously I worked as a software engineer at the University of Queensland, first with the e-Research group and then with the School of Agriculture and Food Sciences.

In April 2012, I graduated from Monash University with a PhD specialising in Distributed Computing Systems.

In 2008, I undertook a Summer Internship at IBM India Research Labs.

Prior to starting my PhD, I was at the Dialog-University of Moratuwa Mobile Communications Research Laboratory.

I started my career at hSenid Software International, a software company specializing in developing mobile applications.

I received my Honour's degree in Engineering and Master's degree in Computer Science from the Department of Computer Science and Engineering.
