Yoshi Kurokawa received his Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Minnesota in 2007. He taught at the State University of New York at Buffalo from 2007 to 2009 and at the University of Tsukuba from 2009 to 2026. Since April 2026, he has been a faculty member at Gakushuin University. His research focuses on international trade, macroeconomics, industrial organization, and the Japanese economy.
