Tribology

Introduction:

Tribology is the science that deals with friction, wear and lubrication. It covers various interdisciplinary departments such as Mechanical, Metallurgical and Chemical Engineering. Tribology science are in needed where ever the materials are in contact.

Descriptions:

My research focus in tribology is to understand the friction and wear behaviour of materials with respect to metallurgical aspect. Materials in research include Aluminium alloys, Metal matrix composites and Bulk metallic glasses. In briefly I classify my work as follows

5. High temperature wear
6. Statistical analysis of wear
