Kuan-Ching Li is currently a Life Distinguished Professor at Providence University. He has received numerous achievement awards and funding support from various agencies and high-tech companies, including Nvidia, AWS, and Intel. In addition to his academic role, he frequently serves as a consultant for companies and organizations and has held distinguished chair professorships at universities in several organizations/countries, such as Senior Research Fellow, Università degli studi della Campania Luigi Vanvitelli, Italy. Dr. Li has been actively involved in many major conferences and workshops, serving in roles such as program chair, general chair, and steering committee member. He has also organized numerous conferences throughout his career.
He is the Editor-in-Chief of technical publications International Journal of Computational Science and Engineering (IJCSE) and International Journal of Embedded Systems (IJES), published by Inderscience, and International Journal of Advanced Robotic Systems (IJARS) published by Sage, also serves as associate editor, editorial board member and guest editor for several high ranked leading journals. Besides the publication of high-quality journal and conference papers in top-quality venues, he is the co-author/co-editor of more than 50 technical professional books published by CRC Press/Taylor & Francis, Springer, McGraw-Hill, and IGI Global. His topics of interest include parallel and distributed computing, Big Data, Blockchain and emerging technologies. He is a Member of the AAAS, a life member of the TACC, a Senior Member of the IEEE, and a Fellow of the IET.
