Geez, it's been a while since I've posted anything here. I just went to Princeton Fall 2017 and this weekend I will be going to WPI Cube Fest Fall 2017. Basically what I have been doing is, since I have been swamped with school, I go home and do the schedule once with a friend and we judge each other like it's a competition. For example, we send 5 scrambles to each other for the even we are doing and we take turns solving. When one person solves the other times their inspection. The person solving also uses a cube cover. When they are ready they obviously say: "I'm ready" and the "judge," says "3-2-1, Go!" then the solver takes the cube cover off and begins inspecting while the "judge" is timing their inspection. I do this at least once, maybe twice depending on if time permits. This is basically how I prepare for a competition, and it is quite effective.
