Ultracold Atomic Quantum Systems
We are located at the Faculty of Physics, University of Warsaw.
Our research is focused on ultracold quantum systems, a field lying between atomic and condensed matter physics.
Research interests:
collisions of atoms, molecules and ions in the cold regime: cold chemistry; quantum control of collisional dynamics with external fields and trap geometry
quantum simulation and computation protocols with cold atoms and molecules
light-matter interfaces: slow light polaritons, engineering photon-photon interactions
few-body physics in atomic systems and condensed matter: excitons, phonons, polarons
Strongly interacting and tightly confined quantum systems
Compound atomic systems for quantum simulation
