Watershed Research at Ohio University
Dr. Natalie Kruse
Dr. Kruse and her students tackle key water quality problems facing Southeast Ohio including impacts of legacy coal mining, avoiding impacts from current coal mining, spill and leak detection and groundwater quality characterization near oil and gas and Class II injection well operations, using green infrastructure to manage runoff, remote water quality sensing, and evaluating the effects of a changing climate on the regions watersheds.
