Hello, my name is Ken Stitt. I have been the advanced math teacher at Greenville High School (Greenville Area School District) in Greenville, PA for the past 19 years. I teach Calculus 2, Calculus 1, Precalculus, and Practical Algebra 2. For the past 17 years, I have been the Head Boys' Tennis Coach at Greenville High School. My tennis team has won nine Region Championships and four Tri-County Championships during my tenure, in addition to numerous individual champions. In addition to my teaching and coaching duties, I am the chief negotiator for the Greenville Education Association.
Prior to teaching at Greenville High School, I taught Economics, Statistics, and Mathematics at West Virginia University, Clarion University, Edinboro University, Grove City College, and Thiel College for nearly 10 years. I am currently teaching Calculus 2 and Calculus 1 in the College in High School Program through the University of Pittsburgh and Precalculus in the College in High School Program through Seton Hill University. I have been involved in education for nearly thirty years in one capacity or another.
I have earned a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Grove City College, a M.A. in Economics from West Virginia University, a M.Ed. in Secondary Mathematics from Slippery Rock University, and a M.Ed. in Educational Leadership and Principal K-12 Certificate from Edinboro University.
My future plans include pursuing additional graduate education and possibly becoming a principal.
