I am an assistant professor in the Department of Applied Economics at Universidad Autónoma de Barcelona. Previously, I was a visiting assistant professor in the Department of Statistics at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid. I was also a postdoctoral researcher in the Department of Economics at ESADE. I received a PhD degree in Economics from the University of Barcelona.

The main fields of my research interests are Empirical Macroeconomics and Time Series Econometrics. I currently work on the evaluation of the effects of conventional and unconventional monetary policy measures. In particular, some of my recent papers are related to the evaluation of the impact of monetary policy on income and wealth inequality. I also currently analyze the local and the global factors that affect the conditional distribution of economic growth, particularly the growth-at-risk.
