I am thrilled to have been given this opportunity to work at Woodrow Wilson High School!
A little about me... I graduated from Texas Woman's University in 1992 with a dual major in Psychology and Music. I worked at a psychiatric hospital as their Music Therapist and Admissions Manager. From there I went to EDS where I was trained as a computer programmer. After my daughter moved to Boston to pursue her college education, I decided to make the move into teaching. I spent my first couple of years at Richard Milburn Academy, a charter school in Fort Worth, then I moved to Nimitz High School in Irving and stayed there 10 years, and now I've been at Woodrow for 4 years.
I teach Psychology, AP Psychology, and IB Psychology. I am so happy about this because I am psyched about Psych! I hope that my enthusiasm is contagious in the classroom!
My schedule for the 2018-19 school year...
Tutoring: Monday & Thursday after school 4:30-5:15, Tuesday before school 8-8:45. Let me know if we need to make other arrangements.
