Dr. Krishnendu Bhattacharyya
I am Dr. Krishnendu Bhattacharyya, M.Sc., Ph.D. (The University of Burdwan), currently serving as a faculty member in the Department of Mathematics, Institute of Science, Banaras Hindu University (BHU), Varanasi, India. My scholarly work is centered on the theoretical and applied analysis of fluid flow and transport phenomena, with particular emphasis on nanofluids, Newtonian and non-Newtonian fluid mechanics, porous media flows, boundary-layer theory, and coupled heat and mass transfer processes. I have made sustained research contributions through the publication of more than 125 articles in leading SCI, SCIE, ESCI, and Scopus-indexed journals, including Physics of Fluids, Proceedings of the Royal Society A, International Journal of Mechanical Sciences, International Journal of Heat and Mass Transfer, International Communications in Heat and Mass Transfer, International Journal of Numerical Methods for Heat & Fluid Flow, Pramana–Journal of Physics, Propulsion and Power Research, PLoS One, Chemical Engineering Journal Advances, and Communications in Nonlinear Science and Numerical Simulation. These works have attracted over 4,700 citations in Scopus (h-index 40) and in excess of 6,400 citations in Google Scholar (h-index 44). My research activities are complemented by active international collaborations spanning the USA, Europe, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia, and by sustained professional service as an Editorial Board Member of Scientific Reports (Nature) and an Editorial Advisory Board Member of Heat Transfer (Wiley), in addition to regular refereeing for high-impact journals published by Elsevier, Springer, Wiley, IOP, and other major scientific publishers.
