These are "legacy pages" that were originally posted on my KR8L website on srv.net (Idaho) in the 1990s (long since defunct). Many of them relate to equipment that I developed for participation in HFPacking activities. Despite its age I think much of this information may still be useful. (Interesting to note: I had lost track of this material for a long time. Fortunately I was able to retrieve it from archive.org.)
