Marina Facilities
Large boat yard with a 20 tonne travel hoist.
Berthing Charges
In June 2012 the price for a 15m sail boat was €80 a night plus water and electricity.
Fuel Dock
At the entrance to the marina.
Anchorage
There is an anchorage just outside the marina which always has boats in it, it is big but not very sheltered.
Beach
There are three lovely beaches but the water can get full of seaweed.
Chandlery
In the marina complex, pretty over priced and not great.
Supermarkets

A good and not over priced supermarket. The vegetables are fresh and there is a very good seafood counter.

Great restaurant all round. The food was local and perfectly cooked, all served in a friendly atmosphere. The prices were pretty reasonable too, €17 for a generous portion of suckling pig. They also have a tank with live shell fish.

Probably the nicest bar on the waterfront. Great outdoor seating with brilliant views and fantastic cocktails.

In June the cheapest car we could get for one day was a Fiat Panda for €38 plus insurrance at €7.
Historical and Cultural Information
There is a historical walking tour where you just follow the marked signs, it takes you round the river estuary and the ancient chapel on the hill. It is worth the walk it is beautiful.
