Welcome! Bienvenue! Welkom! !أهلا

I am currently a Max Weber Postdoctoral Fellow at the European University Institute. I received a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania. I am currently on the job market and will be attending the AEA/ASSA Annual Meeting in Atlanta in January 2019. I focus on labor economics, macroeconomics, and applied econometrics. My dissertation examines the impact of technological change on the wage and occupational distributions. Much of my work involves applications of assortative matching models and search theory. I am also working on projects in the fields of crime and health economics. I invite you to learn more about my research here. I also have experience in consulting, building microeconometric tools used in industrial organization, and doing country-based macro research at an international organization. I speak French and Modern Standard Arabic, am a huge fan of tennis, and love to travel and see new places.
