Welcome! Bienvenue! Welkom! !أهلا

I am currently a Senior Economist at LinkedIn on its Economic Graph Research & Insights Team. In my day-to-day, I help surface knowledge and perspectives on the world of work and the future of work as well as support business functions through media features, client engagements, and business forecasting and signal extraction. I have been featured in the Bloomberg, Business Insider, CNBC, CNN, Fortune, The Financial Times, and The Washington Post.

Prior to joining LinkedIn, I worked in consulting on competition and intellectual property matters in the private sector. I was also a Max Weber Postdoctoral Fellow at the European University Institute in Florence, Italy. I received my MSc in Economics from The London School of Economics and Political Science and my Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania.

In my research, I focus on labor economics, macroeconomics, and applied econometrics. My dissertation examines the impact of technological change on the wage and occupational distributions. Much of my work involves applications of assortative matching models and search theory. I have also worked on projects in the fields of crime and health economics.
