Our programs and events:
We could not maintain Council 6100’s hearty appetite for charitable works without financial support. Being able to donate more than $50,000 annually to support the many organizations listed above requires a strong commitment by our members to support our fund raising efforts.
Our Bingo program is critical to providing the financial support we need to achieve this goal. This program alone accounts for more than 80% of our net income each year. All members are highly encouraged to join one of our 4 bingo teams and volunteer only 4 hrs per month to support this program. Not having a successful bingo program will unfortunately put the council in a very difficult position of having to severely limit or in many cases turn down requests for financial aid from the many organizations we support and especially our local families-in-need.
BINGO - every Friday night 6:30 pm to 11:00 pm.
Baby Bottle drive - Proceeds go to the local Birth Haven and Several Sources Shelters
Drive for Citizens with Disabilities - Proceeds used to support many local organizations listed above.
Sports Mania - Proceeds go to our general fund
RTL Rose sale - Proceeds off set bus transportation cost to attend the Right to Life march in Washington DC held each year on January 22nd.
Adopt-a-School In 2015 Council 6100 adopted The Institute of Good Shepard in Haiti. This small grade school was founded by one of our member Knights together with his brother to bring schooling and a catholic education to the young children in Haiti. The Council allocated over $5000 in funding to provide breakfast and lunch for children during the current school year.
Some of our annual events and programs include:
Bingo Ball - annual thank you dinner for bingo workers and their spouse.
Knights and Spouse Christmas Party - annual dinner and gift swap open to all knights and their spouse.
Social Nights: from time-to-time hold family movie nights and game nights as well as hosting guess speakers on various topics of interest.
