Ken Jack, Senpai 

The club's senior student is Ken Jack, a Nidan (second degree black belt) in Ryukyu kobudo, who had been studying with Yoshiko Sensei since 2005. He is also a Sandan (third degree black belt) in Isshinryu karate. He offers training in the Indianapolis area, which includes classes hosted by more advanced instructors via Zoom meetings on Wednesday and Saturday.

The Indianapolis Dokokai is overseen by Steve Kabboord, President of Ryukyu Kobudo Hozon Shinko Kai Beikoku So Honbu (American General Headquarters), located in Satellite Beach, Florida. Shihan Kabboord is a Rokudan (sixth degree black belt) in Ryukyu kobudo, and was appointed head of the organization by Devorah Yoshiko Dometrich before her passing on April 17, 2024. Hanshi Dometrich was one of only 14 personal students of Akamine Eisuke, and she was his only non-Okinawan English speaking student. She was appointed head of the RKHS in America directly by Akamine Sensei in 1977.
