Introduction

Welcom to Energy & Motor Drive laboratory.

Energy & Motor Drive  (EMD) Lab conducts extensive research and development related to power electronics and motor design for industries. All members are skilled at highly advanced hardware and software programming and guided to collaborate with engineers in industries. The research interests of the EMD Lab include various aspects of Power Electronics, AC Motor Drives, Electrical Vehicle, Renewable Energy. Recently, much effort has been paid to the development of high performance induction /synchronous motor control for Electric car/vehicle (EV).

EMD연구실은 전력전자를 기반으로 모터/인버터제어, 모터고장진단, 전력변환기에 대한 다양한 연구를 진행하고 있습니다. 주요 응용분야는 모터 및 에너지변환이 활용되는 자동차, 전기추진선박, UAM/전기항공기, 가전, 신재생, 로봇 등입니다. 최근에는 차세대 모터/인버터에 적용되는 효율최적화 기법, 출력향상기법, 고장진단기법에 대한 연구를 집중 진행하고 있으며, 기업지원 산학과제와 정부지원 연구과제를 다양하게 진행하고 있습니다. 

EMD연구실의 상세연구분야는 1.마이크로프로세서와 프로그래밍언어를 활용한 모터제어시스템개발, 2. 전력전자, 회로이론, 전자회로에 기반한 전력회로개발, 3.신호처리에 기반한 고장신호 추출 및 분석을 하는 것에  있습니다.
