This youth combat helm has a weathered finish and is constructed in a mix of 16g and 18g steel with 14 gauge for the finial and nasal. The bars are spaced at 1 & 3/8" The leather drape covers a ventilated backplate and it equipped with D-rings for chinstrap mounting.

This helm is constructed in a very nicely weathered 14g steel with 12 gauge for the ocular and nasal. It features bronze trim for the ocular and the upper fittings are cast bronze. The blackened steel riveted camail disguises a ventilated lower barrel and it equipped with D-rings for chinstrap mounting.

This helm is a blend of my Spangen 4 and Valsgarde 8 patterns in 14g steel with 12g for the ocular and back slats. It has D-rings for chinstrap mounting, simulated hinges for the cheekplates, and the fittings are cast copper.

This helm is a bit narrow in the face and is a medium with a 28" browband and a grill length of 7.5".

Another angle on the "Iron Hats" I've been doing a few of. The top of this helm is built using a highly weathered 18 gauge as I was shooting for more of a beat-up-old-hat look. It is rigged with D-rings for a chinstrap and the mottled brown drape hides an 18g lower barrel.
