Usage of Funds

All monies raised during a school year are utilized the following year. The PTO Treasurer creates a proposed budget in April, and it is voted on at the May meeting.

PTO funds are routinely used for:

Assemblies

Winter Fest (held the 3rd Saturday in January)

2018-2019 Fun Run

The Fundraiser for the 2018-2019 school year will once again be a FUN RUN. We will be going with the DIY program through the Get Movin' Crew. This means that we do not pay their personnel to come out and organize the Fun Run. We will do this ourselves, thus keeping more of the money in our own pocket. We will still utilize their website, keeping online payments secure and use their database to keep track of all of the pledges.

The kickoff for the event will be held on September 12th, with the Fun Run on October 3rd. Contact us at klagerpto@gmail.com to be a part of this cool event!

Individual Pledge Rewards

All students are encouraged to reach their individual pledge goal of $50.00

Register online at www.thegetmovincrew.com AND raise $1.00 to receive a neon bracelet to wear throughout the Fun Run period! Students that complete both of these goals will also be entered into the Grand Prize Drawing to win a Sqord Fitness Band (www.sqord.myshopify.com/

· Raise $50 = Glow-in-the-Dark Shoelaces + entry into a weekly raffle prize drawing

· Raise $100 = Glow-in-the-Dark Shoelaces + entry into a weekly raffle prize drawing + Flashing LED Sunglasses

· Raise $200 = SUPERSTAR STATUS! Glow-in-the-Dark Shoelaces + entry into a weekly raffle prize drawing + Flashing LED Sunglasses + Wrist Pedometer + Superstar Medal + Name Displayed on PTO Bulletin Board for the entire school to see!

Top Pledgers

· Top pledging student in each grade will get to SILLY STRING MRS. VILLARREAL

· Top 3 pledgers in the entire school:

o 1st Place = Brand New Bike

o 2^nd Place = iPod Shuffle

o 3^rd Place = Zapzone Pass

Weekly Raffles on Fridays

Students who raise at least $50 will be entered to win a raffle prize – 5 students drawn every Friday during the Fun Run period

Classroom Pledge Rewards

Classes that work as a T.E.A.M. achieve more!

· All classrooms that reach their pledge goal will receive 10% back to use towards classroom enrichment

· Class with the highest amount of pledges in the entire school will receive an extra recess

Total School Pledge Rewards

If we reach our overall school goal of $12,500, we will have a Celebration Assembly where the Klager Team will be recognized for their fundraising, commitment to fitness and making healthy choices.

· All V.I.P. students and accomplished classrooms will be announced.

· The top pledging classroom will receive front row seating at the Celebration Assembly

· The top pledging student in each grade will get to SILLY STRING MRS. VILLARREAL in front of the entire school

BEST OF ALL! – The entire school will receive a CRAZY HAIR, PAJAMA DAY complete with a popcorn snack
