1x1hr $100  Good for behavior consultation, refresher, or 1 or 2 small issues. 

NOTE for all lessons: Time flies when you're having fun. It is recommended that you have notes on your most pressing issues or problems before the lesson. What is the most important thing you want to understand about your dog during that hour? It's hard to remember new things, notes are a great help. Khara is also available thru text/email to answer any questions you might have during your training. Dog's do not always do what is expected, they have a mind of their own and may throw you a curve ball once training starts. 

2x1.5 hr or 3x1hr $270, prepaid, lessons set a week apart (10% discount for multiple lessons!) Good for basic manners, obedience commands, walking on a leash in public. 

4x1hr=$360, prepaid. lessons set a week apart (10% discount for multiple lessons!) This 4 week lessons demonstrates how boot~camp runs at our home. If you follow the program ea. week by week, your dog will understand basic obedience commands, walk on a leash under control, have reliable recall/come, and have basic at home manners. Problems or issues will be addressed and most can be resolved. 

3x1.5hr $405, prepaid, lessons set a week apart (longer sessions for multiple dog family) This is for 2 or more dogs being worked with during the lesson. If any of the dogs are especially unruly it's best to have a handler for each dog. 

4x1.5hr $540, prepaid, lessons set a week apart (longer sessions for multiple dog family)

$90 hr. For each follow up lessons after 3 prepaid. These lessons are follow up for any new issues or extra hard problems to overcome and that take time and follow through. 

$85 hr.  Now offering Video Chat lessons to provide extra health safety, and outside Phoenix, AZ. locations. Zoom me your dog questions or problems and we'll resolve them, and you do not even have to be in Arizona let alone Phoenix! Yay for technology!

During lessons: A copy of Khara Knight Is Taming The Beast dog training manual is given to ea client, so the forms inside can be copied and used to help record the obedience training &/or puppy manners that will be taught specific to your situation. Text and email communication are always available free to you for consultation once training has started. It's best to have a list of your most pressing issues to address 1st. It's easy to get distracted by a dog's behavior at the time, but we may miss another important issue. Time goes quick so having and taking notes to look back on what was done during the lesson and what homework is needed is a valuable tool.  

Private lessons:  Held at your home or neighborhood, dealing with your dog's specific behavior problem or issues. It's best to take the dog into a 'trigger' situation and see how they behave, then to try to explain it. Seeing a correction work and finding another way to do things is imperative to understanding what needs to be done on the daily. Owners will be instructed in daily homework, ea week to address: behavior modification, and/or obedience/manners. An email or printed list of commands is given covering the basics in manners and obedience. Forms for recording progress are in the training manual.  Text or email any questions or problems right away to get answers or advice, do not delay to stay on the right course. 

Owners: You are responsible for having a well behaved dog in public. You're in training and will have daily homework. Purchasing the right equipment as well as the right training method for your dog will benefit greatly. You are responsible for maintaining the dog's good behavior in any given situation, so take the time in the beginning to set a good foundation and it just gets easier. Training the dog every day, usually 10-15 min. 3x daily works very well in basic obedience and doggy/human manners! Behavior issues may take longer or need different methods to resolve. Each dog is an individual and their feelings/needs must be respected. 

Follow up: When Khara comes 1x1hr, weekly usually for 3-4 weeks, to give instructions to the owner on how to progress, she makes sure you feel confident with how things are progressing, (you should see some improvements immediately) then a new lesson is worked thru to give ya another week or two to practice. Basic Obedience and doggy manners can be taught in a month with consistent practice. Dog's can be taught to follow commands pretty well. But behavior issues, like jumping, barking, any excessive fear or aggression, needs behavior modification to resolve. Basic commands usually don't stop a 'dog in the zone!'  There are many methods to help dogs with their behavior issues. Finding the right one is sometimes the trick, but dog's are great beings and most are loving and intelligent and if we communicate properly with each other, harmony is the result!

NOTE: All dogs in day care or overnight boarding must have current vaccinations and license. 

For our boarding clients: We work with all breeds, size, and age. Temperament test must be passed for day care dogs. Dogs in boot camp/training will be required to provide all necessary training equipment, crate/pen, collar/harness, leash, long-line, treats/toys. The proper training collar is essential for quicker results and will be determined as training progresses if a different one may be necessary.  

$45 12.5-24hr. Overnight Boarding

We also offer prepaid multiple days discounts. 

Boot~camp at our home is $1500 prepaid, for 28 days ea dog.  There are no discounts for boot~camp.  Daily pics and weekly videos, updates/outlines, are sent during their stay.
