About Me

I am an applied economist working at the intersection of industrial organization and environmental and energy economics. Much of my work examines how market-based environmental regulation, such as emissions trading and carbon pricing, works in practice and how such policies should be designed. Methodologically, my research ranges from quasi-experimental policy evaluation to laboratory experiments and the analysis of large-scale transaction data. I am also increasingly drawing on large language models and AI-based experiments. More recently, my work has expanded into climate disasters and climate finance.
