Here are three places you can carve every week in Kitsap County!
WEEKLY WOODCARVING GROUP SESSIONS AND FREE LESSONS
Tuesdays in Bremerton 9:00 a.m. - Noon
Sheridan Park Community Center (360-473-5305)
680 Lebo Blvd, Bremerton, WA 98310
Beginner and advanced woodcarving lessons are available at this meet up, as well as guided monthly projects lead by one of our hard working teachers! We don't charge for anyone to come or take a lesson, but Sheridan Park charges a $3.00 per person fee for the use of their facility.
Accessibility: This meet up is wheelchair friendly with gently sloped ramp, and power doors! This meet up usually has a lot of talking as background noise, but most find it comfortable to have a conversation. There are sometimes sudden loud noises as the gym across the hall hosts children's play time, and later pickleball during our meet-ups. It's brightly lit.

Thursday Evenings in Poulsbo 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
Sons of Norway
18891 Front St NE, Poulsbo WA 98370
Located on the ground floor next to the kitchen, beginner and advanced woodcarving lessons are available at the Sons of Norway in Poulsbo. The lessons are free. Visitors are asked to donate $1 to the Sons of Norway for the use of the facility.
Enter through the Trolls Den. Ring the bell, and tell the Bartender you're with Kitsap Carvers and they'll let you in.
Accessibility: This meet up is wheelchair accessible, with an extra step.
The doorbell to the trolls den is not easy to reach from a wheelchair, nor are there power doors. Access can be granted by calling Jeff Iller, (contact below) and he’ll open a different door next to the trolls den. The room we use is ground level, and there are ramps on the sidewalk.
The room we use is next to a kitchen, which is can be loud at times but is usually peaceful. Please email us if you have any further accessibility questions!
