I am currently a professor at Seoul National University, Seoul, South Korea. I received the B.S. and M.S. degrees in electronics engineering from Seoul National University, Seoul, South Korea, in 1994 and 1998, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree from the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Purdue University, West Lafayette, IN, USA, in 2004. From 2004 to 2013, I was a Research Staff Member with the IBM Thomas J. Watson Research Center, Yorktown Heights, NY, USA. I was a Professor at the Pohang University of Science and Technology, Pohang, South Korea from 2013 to 2021. My current research interests include low power VLSI design, neural network processor design, and on-device machine learning
