Kim Harrison is the Director of Technology in the Washington USD in West Sacramento, CA. Over the past year 18 months, she has been a catalyst for change and a voice for teachers in the realm of ed tech by pushing for wireless connectivity district-wide, leading a 1:1 mobile device pilot, and working with teacher leaders to implement GAFE. Kim was honored in 2014 as a CUE Gold Disk recipient and has served as an officer on the CapCUE Board of Directors since 2007 in various capacities. She became a Google Certified Teacher in December 2014 in Austin, TX, and was part of the CUE Rock Star - Chico faculty in June 2015. Her prior work experience includes almost 12 years as a coordinator for educational technology across two CTAP regions (Region 10 and 3) and 8 years as a classroom teacher at various grade levels 3-12 across California.In her free time, Kim enjoys spending time with her family, reading, crocheting, and running. She lives in Sacramento, CA.
