Mary Beth Brennan, a Warren, PA, native, began dancing and twirling with the Starlettes at the age of 3 years old. Starlettes dissolved and Mary Beth joined a new twirling group called, The Candy Canes. Throughout elementary, middle, and high school, Mary Beth actively twirled with The Candy Canes competing in local parades until the group disbanded. At the age of 16, Mary Beth achieved a teaching certification in New York, and planned to continue displaying her passion for twirling. In 1976, Kinzua Kountry Kadettes was born, under the direction of Mary Beth Brennan. Kinzua Kountry Kadettes won many cash and trophy awards, as well as several NY-Penn parade championships. Mary Beth maintained the Kinzua Kountry Kadettes for nearly 20 years, until relocation prevented the group's continuation. Upon relocation, Mary Beth received a position with the DuBois Area High School Marching Band as head Majorette Adviser. In 1996, still longing to teach the sport of baton twirling, Mary Beth founded Kidnetix Baton Corp., as the Corp. director and instructor. As the talent in the area advanced, Kidnetix expanded into the indoor competition setting in 2002, as Kidnetix Top Notch Twirlers (T.N.T.).
