Mrs. Diso
I have a bachelor's degree in early childhood education , a reading endorsement and a master's degree in educational technology from Baldwin Wallace University. This will be my 16th year as an elementary teacher. My goal as a kindergarten teacher is to instill a love for education in all my students.
I absolutely love teaching Kindergarten. The students in our class make so many gains in one year! It is truly the most rewarding job.
My husband Jeff and I have a son Rocco who is 8, a daughter Frankie who is 6 and a dog Josie. Now that I have two school aged kids I take my job even more seriously. I realize it takes a lot to trust someone else with your most prized possession. Please know that I will treat your child as though they are my own! I can't wait to start this new adventure with all of you!
Mrs. Morris
I grew up in New York and earned my undergraduate degree in Elementary Education from University of Maryland. Following college, I taught first grade for four years in Rockville, Maryland, during which time I earned two Masters degrees -- one in Elementary Reading and Math and one in Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment. We relocated to Ohio in June, 2010.
I have taught both second grade and kindergarten in Westlake, and look forward to working with your kindergartners this year, my 15th year of teaching! I had always wanted to be a teacher and am so lucky to love my job, which makes it feel like it isn't really a job at all. I truly enjoy working with your children everyday! I just love getting to know them and seeing the amazing growth they make over the course of our time together!
My husband, Jason, and I have three boys -- Hunter is 9, Wyatt is 6 1/2, and Easton is 2. Wyatt is in kindergarten this year! I know how difficult it is to send your little one off to "real" school, but kindergarten is the BEST! I can't wait to help your kiddos learn and grow!
Our kiddos are friends too!
