Welcome to my professional corner! My research applies econometric methods to study housing and credit markets, with a broader focus on how housing shapes household behavior and socioeconomic outcomes. My interests include real estate economics, housing policy, household finance, consumer bankruptcy and default, and the connections between housing and education.
I like working with data, statistics, and methodologies to extract insights that illuminate the interplay between housing and credit markets. Exploring the nuanced relationships within these markets ultimately contributes to a deeper understanding of their implications on both individual lives and broader economies.
I am currently an Assistant Professor of Real Estate Management at Ted Rogers School of Management, Toronto Metropolitan University (TMU).
I am also a Senior Research Fellow at the TMU Urban Analytics Institute.
Before joining TMU, I was a Senior Specialist in the Research and Innovation Division of Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation (CMHC).
I received my Ph.D. in Applied Economics from HEC Montreal.
