Georgia P25 TALKGROUP 555

TG555 -  Georgia Talkgroup 555

This is the default TG for 442.125, 927.1375, 927.7375.  Open to all P25

Operators; spots or P25 Repeaters worldwide.

Reflector Dashboard and information: http://www.georgia900p25.us

TG2 - Local linked operation between 927.1375, 927.7375, 442.125 (1).

This TG is programmed into a local list of hosts or talk groups in the

servers that manage these three repeaters.

Reflector Dashboard: coming soon.

TG9999 - All P25 radios should have 9999 (UNLINK) in their talk group list.

Selecting this TG unlinks the repeater P25Gateway from any talk group

which allows station to station traffic only.  P25 traffic will not be

shared with other repeaters or reflectors.

The P25Gateways associated with the group repeaters currently default

to 555.  If you steer the P25Gateway to another TG, that connection

will remain active as long as there is traffic on the repeater through

the TG you selected.  After 10 minutes of inactivity, the P25Gateway

will revert to the default, 555.  In order for two users to continue

to use a TG other than 555, both radios must select that TG.  As

example, when both operators key up with TG2 selected, the repeater

P25Gateway will remain connected to TG2.  If either operator keys up

with a different and valid TG, the P25Gateway will be redirected to

that TG.

The repeater P25Gateways associated with 927.1375, 927.7375, 442.125 are

networked and fully functional.  This not true of all P25 repeaters.

The operator can steer the P25Gateway to any registered TG worldwide

as well as one local, TG2.  This powerful feature should be used with

care. Always make sure you know what TG you have selected before you

PTT.

TG 1-5, 7-9 are generally considered reserved for local operation.

However, due to the fact we have users that have not programmed their

radios with a talk group list, the radio may have a default of 1.  So,

we currently redirect TG1 to 555.

This configuration may change to adjust for traffic conditions.

Note 1: 442.125 activation is pending completion of antenna work in 1q2024.
