Overview

Welcome. I am an Associate Professor at the Institute of Liberal Arts and Sciences and Affiliated Faculty member at the Graduate School of Mathematics, Nagoya University, where I am involved with the mathematics component of the G30 Program.
I am also a Visiting Scientist at the Interdisciplinary Theoretical and Mathematical Sciences (iTHEMS) research program at RIKEN.

Generally I am working on operator algebras, noncommutative geometry and their applications to physics and elsewhere.

Previously, I was an Assistant Professor and JSPS Overseas Postdoc (with Motoko Kotani) at Tohoku University. Before coming to Japan, I was a postdoc at Friedrich-Alexander Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg under Hermann Schulz-Baldes.

In December 2015 I completed my PhD at the Australian National University under the supervision of Alan Carey and Adam Rennie.
