Overview
Welcome. I am an Assistant Professor at the Mathematics Group of the Advanced Institute for Materials Research, Tohoku University. Previously I was a JSPS overseas postdoctoral fellow (supervised by Motoko Kotani).
As of 1 May 2018, I am also a Visiting Scientist at the Interdisciplinary Theoretical and Mathematical Sciences (iTHEMS) research program at RIKEN. See SUURI-COOL (Sendai) for more information.
Currently I am working on applications of operator algebras and noncommutative geometry to condensed matter physics and topological phases of matter.
