Welcome. I am an Assistant Professor at the Mathematics Group of the Advanced Institute for Materials Research, Tohoku University. Previously I was a JSPS overseas postdoctoral fellow (supervised by Motoko Kotani).

From 1 May 2018, I will also be a Visiting Scientist at the Interdisciplinary Theoretical and Mathematical Sciences (iTHEMS) research program at RIKEN.

Currently I am working on applications of operator algebras and noncommutative geometry to condensed matter physics and topological phases of matter. See the Research page for more info and publications.

Before coming to Sendai I was a postdoc at Friedrich-Alexander Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg under Hermann Schulz-Baldes.

In December 2015 I completed my PhD at the Australian National University under the supervision of Alan Carey and Adam Rennie.
