Assistant Professor of Mathematics

I am an Assistant Professor of Mathematics at Florida A&M University (FAMU), Tallahassee. I am moving to Texas Tech University (TTU), Lubbock this Fall 2024 for the same position.

My research is currently supported by the National Science Foundation grant DMS-2316603.

Together with senior professors from FAMU and Florida State University, I chaired the 41st Southeastern-Atlantic Regional Conference on Differential Equations this 2023, https://sites.google.com/view/searcde-2023/. The conference is generously granted by the National Science Foundation DMS-2324359.

Recent activities.

Biography.

I was born in Vietnam, where I got my Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Computer Science at Vietnam National University - University of Science in 2014. I was very fortunate to study in the undergraduate honor program. My Bachelor thesis was supervised by Dr. Nguyen Thanh Long.

In 2018, I obtained my Ph.D. degree in Applied Mathematics at International School for Advanced Studies (SISSA) in Italy. My studies were mainly hosted by Gran Sasso Science Institute (GSSI). My Ph.D. dissertation was supervised by Prof. Dr. habil. Adrian Muntean (Karlstad University, Sweden).

Before joining FAMU, I was a postdoctoral researcher at University of North Carolina at Charlotte in 2019. I was mentored there by Prof. Dr. Michael Victor Klibanov. In 2018, I was an FWO postdoctoral fellow granted by Research Foundation - Flanders of Belgium. I was supervised by Prof. Dr. Iuliu Sorin Pop at Hasselt University. Before that, I held a short-term research associate at University of Goettingen, Germany, and was mentored by Prof. Dr. Thorsten Hohage.
