Biography.
I was born in Vietnam, where I got my Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Computer Science at Vietnam National University - University of Science in 2014. I was very fortunate to study in the undergraduate honor program. My Bachelor thesis was supervised by Dr. Nguyen Thanh Long.
In 2018, I obtained my Ph.D. degree in Applied Mathematics at International School for Advanced Studies (SISSA) in Italy. My studies were mainly hosted by Gran Sasso Science Institute (GSSI). My Ph.D. dissertation was supervised by Prof. Dr. habil. Adrian Muntean (Karlstad University, Sweden).
Before joining TTU, I was a tenure-earning Assistant Professor of Mathematics at Florida A&M University for 3 years, 2021-2024. Before that, I was a postdoctoral researcher at University of North Carolina at Charlotte in 2019. I was mentored there by Prof. Dr. Michael Victor Klibanov. In 2018, I was an FWO postdoctoral fellow granted by Research Foundation - Flanders of Belgium. I was supervised by Prof. Dr. Iuliu Sorin Pop at Hasselt University. Besides, I held a short-term research associate at University of Goettingen, Germany, and was mentored by Prof. Dr. Thorsten Hohage.
