I' am a Full Professor of Finance and the Director of the Center of Research for Energy and Climate Change (CRECC) at Paris School of Business, where I lead interdisciplinary research at the intersection of finance, energy, and sustainability. In addition to my primary role, I serve as an Adjunct Professor at the Telfer School of Management, University of Ottawa (Canada), and an Affiliate Professor at the University of Luxembourg. My academic expertise spans empirical finance, applied time-series econometrics, commodity markets, and energy finance, anchored by advanced qualifications including France’s prestigious Habilitation à Diriger des Recherches (HDR) (2015), a Ph.D. in Economics from the University Paris Nanterre (2011), and an M.Sc. in Finance from Paris I University Panthéon-Sorbonne (2005).

As a prolific scholar, I have co-authored numerous books and published over 100 peer-reviewed articles in leading academic journals. I actively shape global finance discourse through editorial roles as a Senior Editor for Finance Research Letters and the International Journal of Emerging Markets, and as an Associate Editor for the Journal of Economic Surveys and Research in International Business and Finance.

My career reflects a steadfast commitment to bridging academic rigor with real-world impact. From 2018 to 2019, I served as Project Manager at the International Center of Business Research (ICBR), where I spearheaded international collaborations, aligned research agendas with global business trends, and led multidisciplinary teams to advance innovative solutions. Earlier, as a Financial Analystin the Department of Risk Control at Caisse de Dépôts et Consignation (2007–2011), I developed risk mitigation strategies, conducted portfolio analyses, and enhanced compliance frameworks to support informed decision-making in financial markets.

My passion for global collaboration was further refined during my tenure as Research Manager at UNESCO (2003–2007), where I directed studies on education, science, and culture, shaping policies and fostering international consensus on critical issues. This built on foundational experience as a Quality Controller at General Electric Money Bank (2000–2002), where I optimized operational efficiency and service quality through data-driven audits and cross-functional teamwork.

Since 2019, I have directed the Center of Research for Energy and Climate Change (CRECC) at Paris School of Business, a hub dedicated to addressing urgent global challenges. In just four years, CRECC has achieved remarkable scientific maturity, producing over 80 publications that advance understanding of energy transitions, climate policy, and sustainable finance. Our work not only pushes academic frontiers but also fosters partnerships with industry leaders to translate research into actionable strategies for decarbonization and energy security.
