True Sikh Salutation is any word/ words from Gurbani Shabad Guru Surat Dhun Chyla   mutually agreed upon by Panj Piaras operating uner different environments. There is nothing rigid in Sikhi. Any Five sikhs unders any circumstances can mutually decide on any set of words from Gurbani as salutation . Like

 I use 'Jo deesyy gur Sikhda niv niv laga pau jeeo'

Only & only condition is that words have to be from Gurbani . In this commSalutation 'Sat Shiri Akal' is not True. 'Ikk O angkaar~~~~~~~~~~' is ' Akaal Muurat Ajonee Syybhng'  is. Discussing Culture & promoting it is false. We must blindly follow Jpuji Sahib which is True Name of every Sikh. One & Only One Way of Satgur ke Syva is 'Gaviyy, Suniyy  and Man rakhiyy bhau'. Like any language gurbani is theLokk forward to sharing Gur Shabad veechar in person
