Welcome to the CTC Kettering website. We are the local group of CTC, the national cycling charity (also known as Cycling UK), covering the area of Kettering, Corby, Wellingborough and East Northamptonshire. We are now an Informal Group attached to the active group covering the Northampton area. (See our Links page for details or download their rides lists attached below). We are a small friendly group and, prior to the onset of CoViD, we staged two rides every week, on Sunday and Tuesday mornings.

These 'rides' simply involved individuals meeting up for elevenses at a teashop rendezvous. There has always been plenty to talk about when we meet. Since we do not ride together there is no requirement to be a member, so please just turn up and make yourself known to us.

Now that the lockdown restrictions have eased, we are restarting our rides programme, which was suspended in March 2020. At present we have a programme of Tuesday elevenses rides only; we are hoping in due course that the Sunday events will return. Whilst it would be good if we could once again have organised 'led' rides from a starting point, there has not been a clear demand for this, and it requires a sufficient pool of individuals willing to act as leaders; at present they are not available.
