For a few exceptional days in the heart of Austria, the city of Linz becomes a meeting point for kendoka seeking more than speed, power or victory. The Kendo Vision Seminar is an opportunity to deepen your understanding of kendo through practice, reflection, and exchange. 

Jean-Pierre Labru embarked on his Kendo journey at the age of 7 and became a member of the French national team when he was 22. In his 14 years in the national team, he became eight times European Champion in the teams competition. On the national level, he won the title of French champion five times.

In 1997, he achieved a remarkable 5th place at World Kendo Championship. He won the Fighting Spirit Award twice at the WKC.

Jean-Pierre Labru also served many years as a referee for the European Kendo Championships as well as World Kendo Championships. 

In 2018, he was elected as the Technical Director of the European Kendo Federation (EKF).
