Our cabin in the woods is about 2 miles east of downtown Grand Marais on H58.
The cabin has a full kitchen, bathroom with shower and small washer and dryer, dining room and large living room. Our bedding arrangement has changed over the winter. The bunk beds are gone. We now have a queen sized and a double sized bed. We also have a fold out couch.
Other amenities include a fire pit (firewood may be available), screen tent, picnic table, gas barbecue grill, CD/Stereo Receiver, DVD player-but NO TV RECEPTION, coffee grinder and a croquet set. It is a half mile to the mouth of the Sucker River and a great Lake Superior public beach. A 1/4 mile in the other direction is Baker Creek and the North Country Trail. State land and mountain bike trails are behind the property.
We have NO INTERNET and Cell service is spotty. We offer technological detoxification at no additional charge (if you are in Grand Marais, you need to be outside anyhow). Cell service can be obtained close by and Internet is available around Grand Marais.
Check-in and check-out days and times are flexible. Rates below are for 1-4 people. Additional people can be discussed. All taxes are included in price.
DAILY RATE FOR 2021: $100.00 with 3 night minimum + $50 refundable cleaning fee. $100 deposit. ALL TAXES INCLUDED
Weekly rate = $620 + $50 refundable cleaning fee. $150 deposit. RETURNING CUSTOMERS RECEIVE LAST YEAR'S PRCES FOR ONE MORE YEAR.
