Vision: KLIC works to improve the beautification of public and private landscape, for the benefit of Kauai’s environment, communities, and visitors.

Mission: KLIC’s mission is to promote, educate, stimulate, and support the landscaping and nursery industries on Kauai by providing training, education, and development opportunities.

Purpose: The purpose of KLIC is to improve the standards and promote the growth of nursery and landscape industries on Kauai. In achieving these purposes, the Council shall strive to:

1. Promote and support research and education towards the improvement of landscape and nursery practices;
2. Share information relevant to the landscape community and the public;
3. Assist governmental agencies in developing policies related to landscaping;
4. Increase economic development relating to the landscape industry; and
5. Simulate public interest in landscape gardening, tree planting, and horticultural practices.
