About Katie

My mom has this great picture of me. I am sitting in our garden, my face covered in dirt.  Things haven't changed much, except now I try to keep the dirt off my face.  I have always had a passion for growing plants, vegetables, and flowers. Since I was little I have helped care for our garden at home and in 2005, I left my job in the hustle and bustle of the restaurant industry and started working in a wholesale nursery, my first step toward following my dream.  When my boss retired in 2011, I decided it was time to take the leap and start my own business doing what I love most; helping plants, flowers, and vegetables flourish on the coast.  Having grown up in Fort Bragg and worked in a local nursery I am familiar with the special care required for coastal plants. In my work,  I treat every yard and garden with the same love and care that I treat my own.
