Skin Care Products

All of Kathy’s Skin Care Products are handmade and homemade with all-natural skin feeding ingredients.

There are a range of products from lip balms to body and face creams. I will describe each product and it’s ingredients.

Lip Balms:

All the lip balms are made with moisturizing ingredients to keep your lips supple while adding protection from the environment.

These include Sweet Almond Oil, Cocoa Butter and Beeswax.

There is a choice of “flavourings” in the lip balms; Natural (with no added Essential Oils), Pink Grapefruit and Peppermint.

I use only a touch of Essential Oils in the Lip Balm formulas, just enough for a hint of scent.

The lip balms come in 4.25 gram tubes.

Nourishing Creams:

Three types of nourishing creams are offered. All are rich with skin feeding oils and waxes.

These include; Sweet Almond Oil, Jojoba Oil, Cocoa Butter, Shea Butter, Coconut Oil, and Beeswax.

With the addition of Essential Oils and my own infused oils using my garden produce, this is a truly rich mixture.

Water, glycerin and borax keep the mix together and make it light for easy application.

Lavender Nourishing Cream

contains Sweet Almond Oil and Lavender Essential Oil.

This cream is gentle for all skin types.

This cream will also contain Sweet Almond Oil infused with Lavender buds from my garden while my supply lasts.

Sweet Orange Calendula Cream

has the addition of calendula oil (sweet almond oil infused with calendula petals) replacing some of the regular Sweet Almond Oil.

Added to this is the gentle scent of Sweet Orange Essential Oil.

This cream will also contain Sweet Almond Oil infused with Calendula Petals from my garden while my supply lasts.

Herbal Rose Nourishing Cream

contains all the base ingredients listed above, with the following herbal extras: Aloe Vera, Palmarosa Essential Oil and a little Rose Geranium Essential Oil.

*Note: These creams may contain floral waters, infused oils or extra essential oils according to availability. I always make my products with love and care, for the best possible moisturizing results.

Creams come in 1.7 oz. frosted glass jars for immediate use. They are perishable as they don’t include preservatives beyond the Essential Oils.

If they’re not going to be used within 3 to 6 months, it is recommended they be refrigerated.

(Please note, I used a larger jar of cream myself over the period of several months (approximately a year) with no apparent ‘keeping’ problems or detrimental effects.)

Floral Healing Balm:

Floral Healing Balm is the ultimate, intensive, solution for dry skin.

It contains Sweet Almond Oil, Jojoba Oil, Coconut Oil, Cocoa Butter, Shea Butter, Calendula infused Sweet Almond Oil, Rosehip infused Sweet Almond Oil, Castor Oil, Beeswax, Lavender Essential Oil, Frankincense Essential Oil and Chamomile Essential Oil.

*The oil infusions are made with plant materials from my own garden and I use them as long as I have those plants available.

This is an oily solution as it goes on your skin but it penetrates well, so it can be used sparingly for daytime use, or more heavily for overnight.

*Note:This Healing Balm may contain extra essential oils, and/or infused oils depending on availability. I always make my products with love and care, for the best possible results.

This healing balm also comes in a1.7 oz. frosted glass jar. It doesn’t have any water in it so it is not vulnerable to bacteria and has a long shelf life.

There will be a one-time-only Lip Balm available this Christmas Season of 2022.

You will find the same lovely combination of Sweet Almond Oil, Cocoa butter and local Beeswax, with some special additions.

The cocoa butter in this lip balm is natural (undeodorized) so you get that yummy hint of chocolate scent, along with the vanilla oleoresin...super-yummy!

There is also a bit of natural vegetable glycerin and castor oil, both of which help with moisturizing.
