License agreement

By installing and/or using Karakan (“the software”) you agree to the following license agreement. If you do not agree to all of the terms of this license agreement, do not install and/or use the software.

1. License grant

You are granted a non-exclusive license to use the software free of charge, and to make and distribute unlimited copies of the software, provided that the following conditions are met:

• 1. Each copy that you make and distribute must contain the setup application for the software, including this license agreement and all copyright notices pertaining to the software.

  2. It is not allowed to charge a price or other compensation for creating and/or distributing copies of the software.

  3. It is not allowed to rent, lease, or sell the software.

  4. It is not allowed to modify, translate, reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble the software, or create derivative works based on the software.

2. Disclaimer of warranty

Since the software is provided free of charge, it is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind, whether express or implied, including, but not limited to, warranties that the software is free of defects, fit for a particular purpose or non-infringing. You bear the entire risk as to selecting the software for your purposes and as to the quality and performance of the software.

3. Limitation of liability

In no event shall the author be liable for any damages arising out of the use or the inability to use the software, including without limitation damages for loss of goodwill, lost profits, loss of data, and computer failure or malfunction, even if the author has been advised of the possibility of such damages, or for any claim by any other party.
