My Passion: My passion is to offer what I can to help next generation of young adults be better prepared in navigating their career and life in general. The vehicle I chose to pursue my passion is through teaching. I was inspired to teach by a marketing professor I had as an undergrad. His unique teaching style and his ability to help students relate to the subject that is being taught changed how I viewed academics. To this date, I admire him for what he did in that one class where he changed the outlook of my life and career. My hope is through teaching and coaching, someday someone's life will be forever changed for the better because of what I do today.
My Career: I started in the information technology field as a developer and reached the level of senior management and management consultant working in industries as diverse as e-learning, e-commerce, manufacturing, and government. I am currently the Assistant Assessor-County Clerk-Recorder with the County of Riverside in California. Prior to this role I was the Property Tax Systems Information Technology Officer managing County of Riverside Enterprise Solution for Property Taxation (CREST) modernization program. I am also a part-time lecturer at the University of California Riverside School of Business and A. Gary Anderson Graduate School of Management, and the California State Polytechnic University College of Business Administration.
My Education: I have a MBA degree with concentration in management, a Master of Science degree with concentration in computer information systems, and a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration and economics with concentration in management information systems.
