Kanda Naknoi is an Associate Professor of Economics in the Department of Economics at the University of Connecticut. She works at the intersection of international finance and trade. Her research studies have been published by leading academic journals, the Cambridge University Press, the Oxford University Press and the ISEAS Publishing. She taught at Purdue University and held a visiting position at Waseda University, UC Davis, Hitotsubashi University, the University of Tokyo, the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis, the International Monetary Fund, and the Asian Development Bank Institute. She holds a Ph.D. in Economics from Stanford University. She was born in Thailand in 1973.Â
