KALASAGARAM - About

Kalasagaram, established in the year 1967, is committed to promoting cultural activities for over four decades. From a humble beginning in 1967, Kalasagaram has steadily grown in its stature and has successfully completed 50 years of useful service to the cause of Fine Arts in the realm Music, Dance and Drama. It has established itself as a premier cultural organisation in the country.

Apart from providing wholesome entertainment to the members and art lovers by arranging regular programs in the monthly and annual festival programs, Kalasagaram provides encouragement to young and upcoming artists.

Kalasagaram conducts dance and music competitions every year. The Annual Competitions in music and dance have been quite popular, attracting entrants from Vizag, Chennai, Vijayawada, Bangalore and even from abroad etc.

In addition to the Annual Competitions, Kalasagaram provides a platform for upcoming artists in its Annual Youth Festival of Music and Dance.

Also, Kalasagaram has introduced Chamber Music wherein promising young artists are given an opportunity to perform.
