For those wishing to have me as their academic advisor at the graduate school

At the graduate school, I can provide research guidance on the art of the United States and Japan after World War II, which is my main area of research, but in principle, I can only provide advice and guidance on research in general for other subjects. Please understand that there may be cases I cannot accept depending on the subject. I do not accept advance interviews or visits from those wishing to become research students or those wishing to enroll in the master's program. Those who wish to enroll in the Master's or Doctoral programs are encouraged to attend the online orientation for entrance examinations (入学試験説明会) held every autumn (information will be posted on the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences website under “入学・進学をご希望の方”).
