Kristen A. Greer
I am a Ph.D. graduate from the Department of Linguistics at UC Davis (Dec. 2014). Since graduating, I have worked as a full-time lecturer at UCLA (2015-16) and Washington University in St. Louis (2016-18). I currently work at UCDavis.
My research interests are in semantics, pragmatics, and syntax. More specifically, my research focuses on issues in quantification. In my dissertation, I advance a theory of DP quantifiers that is fully general (avoiding lexical or structural ambiguity to account for proportional, reverse, focus-affected, and cardinal interpretations of certain quantifiers) and extensional (avoiding reference to intensional constructs like alternative possible worlds).
