Illegal Immigration
1) Emergency Immigration
- Anyone trying to get into the US, or found in the US, will be taken on a case by case basis. If they were leaving a dangerous situation, they may be permitted to start becoming a citizen of the United States
2) Deportation
- If the person is convicted of using, or distributing illegal drugs in the United States, they will be immediately Deported if they are not a current United States Citizen
3) No Walls needed
- The wall plans so far don't address the main issue, which is the tunnels we can't easily find under the fence/wall. We need new innovations in technology to detect drug traffickers and cheaper methodologies for citizens to immigrate.
Ending Homelessness
One of the biggest issues of ending homelessness is the homeless for the most part can't get jobs as they have no form of ID. We need a way for them to get their ID so they can get back in the workforce. My home state has shelters for homeless people and even end up accepting homeless from other states. We need a nationwide push for programs like the Albuquerque homeless work program to be implemented to help with this.
Climate Change
Currently we need to do more to address the bandage and long term issues affecting the climate. We should reduce emissions by at least 20% and start looking into better alternatives.
Restoring America's Economy
Investors only invest right now in the safe bet. Currently Investors must invest 10% of their money, we need to add 1% in high risk seed capital so new companies can be formed.
DMCA Fix
I am currently working on new legislation to fix the DMCA, more details soon.
Education
Education is key, without it we are no longer a nation of the brightest. We currently celebrate several young citizens that make great strides. But as of right now, education is "continued at home". And if the Mother and Father aren't educating their children, then either they have to learn for themselves, or fall by the wayside. Early education currently is set by the lowest common denominator, we need to re-raise the bar. We also need to ensure textbooks are accurate, and that even colleges aren't teaching ancient information that no longer concerns anyone. When I went to college (and was discriminated against for disability) Visual Basic and C+ were the languages of the programming industry. There was a 500 level class about QBasic back from DOS.
Abortion
The answer to this is simple. Abortion should be legal, this is not a moral debate. Economic and Sociological factors prove this as if the pregnancy was not planned, especially in the case of failure of a contraceptive, that this harms the child. Children having to be orphaned because the parents aren't able to support them, or being brought up with the inability to get a meal or education is wrong. The simpler solution to this is to actually educate the economics of having a family as well as the "birds and the bees" speech. Education in all things are key.
Same-Sex Marriage
I support Same-Sex Marriage, and Marriage in general. Anyone attempting to disallow any form of marriage should be prosecuted as per discrimination laws. This includes not offering any form of marriage.
Energy
1) I believe that we need to cut the laws that make clean power less affordable. We need to Federally regulate the percentage better that solar sell back is paid. We also need to make solar and wind more affordable, and include provisions for if a wind turbine which isn't made anymore fails, that they can replace it with help from the Government again.
2) Nuclear energy despite belief, is very safe, and doesn't produce radiation outside of the facility, barring natural disaster that most towns wouldn't survive in the first place. But also we force things that can't become radioactive to also be put into 50 gallon drums filled with a special concrete mixture. Proof of this can be seen on the Mythbusters, they irradiated insects, and were surprised that despite high doses of radiation, the insects weren't radioactive. We need to look over what regulations have been put into place that overburden nuclear development. That way we can research new safeguards against natural disasters damaging nuclear reactors.
The Economy and Federal Debt Reduction
The Federal Government and all bodies under the Federal Government must start looking at ways to reduce the debt. Several ideas as follows:
1) Changing all Government owned lighting to LED lights. They pay for themselves in 7 months, and have an average lifespan of 22 years. This reduces the amount of maintenance needed, but costs up front. More details once I have full data on the current Government light amounts and types.
2) We need to make it easier to make a business. Seed Capital is supposed to be pre-prototype. Since investors are only forced to spend 10% of their money in investments, that's usually all they invest. Most are uncontactable unless you stalk them, and find a way of meeting them in person. Google Ventures is a good example of this. No one in Google knows how to contact them. They only invest in companies with major contacts. Investors should have to spend an additional 5% in low money or risky investments. And must hold an open house at least four times a year to hear new ideas. As well as your first personal and business international patents should be covered by the Government to protect your intellectual property.
Freedom of Religion
I support what our founders believed in. This nation was brought up and made on the idea of having freedom of religion. And we defile that ideal in January every 4 years, when the President puts their hand over a bible and swears to God. I will put my hand over a copy (since i doubt we can bring the real one out) of the bill of rights and constitution of America. And I will swear that I will do my duties to the best of my ability to the American people.
Off-The Grid Protection
Currently, laws are not stringent enough against firing weapons near people who live off the grid. I myself and other have lost money from anything from bird shot to bullets landing on our property destroying wind turbine blades and other off the grid equipment. I plan on getting a bill passed to make a 250 yard exclusion zone of any firearm being discharged near any property owned by a citizen of the United States. This 250 yard exclusion zone is based on posted fence or any building, structure, vehicle, shed, or equipment on said property. I propose a unique fine structure for this. The fine structure is per-property, as in a first offence at three different properties because you didn't know it was there are all separate, and just first offences.
Hunting:
First offence: 25 dollar fine
Second offence: 250 dollar fine, 3 month suspension of hunting licence
Third offence: 1,000 dollar fine, confiscation of firearms, 3 months jail time, 3 year suspension of hunting licence
Fourth offence: 2,500 dollar fine, confiscation of firearms, 1 year jail time, inability to get a hunting licence again
Illegal weapons/discharge of lethal weapon towards a town or building:
First offence: 1,000 dollar fine, 1 year jail time, confiscation of weapons
Second offence: 2,000 dollar fine, 2 years jail time, confiscation of weapons
Third offence: 5,000 dollar fine, 3 years jail time, confiscation of weapons, inability to own a firearm for life.
FBI National Security Letter Change
National Security Letters currently allow for too much of a bypass of due process. I plan to make it so that the President of the United States has to sign off on any NSL use. Along with a civilian oversight group to ensure this is not used improperly. Not to mention, any gag order on the NSL is unconstitutional.

National Cyber Security
The limits on maximum encryption a corporation or individual may have needs to be raised. This will help ensure privacy of data as well as privacy of bank account information.
Also the DoD and other federal agencies need to raise their level of defence.
Our national infrastructure needs to be better secured against attack. Not meaning to block sites, or limit availability of data, but simply have the internet backbone prevent DoS, DDoS and other attacks.
Companies should be allowed to force security updates to their software with a 24 hour max delay. Antivirus softwares should be installed on all computers and firewalls used. Just like physical vaccines, preventing more computers from being infectable and used for attacks prevents future attacks.
We must also be pro-active about defence of personal data. Cyber Crimes Task-force should be listening to every problem that happens as soon as they come in and work to handle it.
