Welcome! I am an associate professor of physics at UNED (Madrid), and visiting researcher at Instituto de Física Teórica, (IFT, UAM-CSIC).
My research interests lie within the realm of mathematical and computational physics, spanning very distant fields, such as condensed matter physics, quantum information and statistical mechanics: entanglement, disordered systems, growth models, stochastic geometry, smart numerical methods to study manybody physics, quantum simulators, quantum optics and the subtle interplay between physics and computation.
In my free time, my alter ego Igor Broncovitch and I play the tenor saxophone in night clubs of different cities. Science is cool, but one has to eat.
